i'm up for playing once my dissertation and exams are out of the way. coupla weeks left

apart from mirek most of you have been playin a coupla months and found out cos i posted it n here. of course it is gonna feel like it's easier to find out on here because you did. but there's only you computer addicts on here so we aren't gonna get more people just rabbiting about it here. Over the last 3 years people have found out about polo through various ways. one is seeing a bunch of people playing in a regular spot, that's how dan and nick etc found us.

I haven't been flyering or sending out my usual polo reminder emails over the last couple of motnhs because i feel i would mislead people where to go...as mirek says and as i keep on saying we need one consistent time and place....this conversation is getting boring...and really dumb.

nes can we have the numbers and emails of the people who contacted you over the past weeks so we can get them down for sunday?

but it's not fair to have it so you just wait til people come and have a go at me and i get their number and pass it on to you...it's a ridiculous suggestion..people just need a fucking time and place to go to...you say you want more players and the way to do that is to have a regular place and time.you're boring me.really fucking boring me.

it's mostly been face to face at cm etc that people have complained about it...a couple of emails, one was alex

picked up a truing stand cheap from a mate at withington cycles...just trued all my wheels...very satisfying.

so any wobbly polo wheels you need to true, let me know and you can come have a go or i'll have a bash for you.

I just noticed that my rear's out so I might take you up on that offer. I need a stand - have they got anymore?

Cool! How about Richard? He said he'd be up for trying it too. I've just been in Liverpool city center and spotted some amazing polo courts! It would be cool if the scousers got into polo, then we could have a north west league.

hey i did my wheel today too roo! took it to work, took it to bits, laced it all up and started tensioning, then realised my spokes were too long..
after another hour taking all back apart again carefully (so i didnt waste the spokes that werent mine) laced it up again with the right spokes woohoo! it is so satisfying, and now its perfect.

an excellent outlet for my anality. so five and a half hours well spent doing that! i want a stand!

yeah yeah, if theres room, can be a bit busy if theres 3 of them working in there already. and obviously this was 5 an a half hours of my own time, not while i was meant to be working,

i'm going to be building another wheel next weekend i think, anyone have any they want to build up with me? free use of a truing stand, could get a wheelbuilding/truing thing going.

as soon as i get some rims i have 2 wheels i wanna build.....don't really know how to do it exactly so if u cud lend a hand? depending on when i find some rims tho...could be after summer

GBH sell rigida dpx for £20 each. think they are the cheapest rims with reinforced eyelets. they are quite deep section as well, seem quite robust. go for them if on a budget.

these are gonna be for my new summer build so not going too budget. Gonna keep the unicrap for polo and build a new beauty. Cheers for the advice tho....don't really have a clue

i dont think i can make it 2day, i have been in bed since friday lunchtime with food poisoning, feel like i might die altho am abit better now, all the shakes and pains have gone, have a good day, il be on my steamroller tuesday/thursday woo!
