Possible social polo day/night out?:
I've seen ONSIND once they where pretty good (and I think now they are on Plan-it-X).
It's like if Cheryl Cole was male and played acoustic punk (not really but Chan will appreciate it) -

Had a pop into work today to see about getting the gearing on my bike sorted out, seems I've hit a little bump.
I was planning to use a cassette hub I've got and convert it to a singlespeed freewheel, mainly because the only size I can go to on my chainring is 38T, so I'd be running a 23T cog on the back which I can't get in a screw on freewheel for my flip flop hub, but can get as a cog for a cassette.
This would have been peachy if the cassette hub would have bloody fit my frame, but the frame has 110mm spacing on the back and the cassette is a fair whack over that at about 119mm.
Anyone have any ideas of solutions? Considering just waiting until I can get a dedicated polo frame (There's one at work which does look promising) but if there's a way anyone can think to turn the fixed into a polo bike that'd be great, I'm thinking maybe a crank that can take a smaller chainring but we've got non at work that'll fit a square bottom bracket like mine.

Stretch it, it'll squeeze in

steel frame?

• #10966
or there are 22t freewheels knocking about in places

• #10967
I have a 23 cassette sprocket on the back of mine, chain only came off once.
And you may as well have a bash at stretching the frame .5cm each side won't kill it if it's steel.

stretch it ans if that don't work cold something it, bit of wood is used, look up sheldon but its not to perfect but works

• #10969
Cold setting is fun and easy!

I was considering stretching it, but I'd like to use my normal hub for riding round when not playing polo, wouldn't that make switching hubs a bit awkward? Or.... I could just put spacers on the hub with a longer axle perhaps? That is a possibility....

If it's not cold set but just stretched a bit it should (in theory) spring back to its old spacing and if it doesn't, tighten the nuts up until it does.

eBay cranks ftw. You can get a 34 on a compact road crank. Depends what chainline you're aiming for.
