  • EDIT:

My bad I didn't read the whole way down, looks like you've found the thomson.

  • pics with drops?

  • pics with drops?

    Stop asking for perverse material

  • Dirty photos as requested ;) Brake levers are taped as they're not sprung and the rattling way doing my head in on the Brighton run..

  • i definitely want to try drops now.
    going to be awesome

  • Wow those levers look shit. Get some black tape, pull back the hoods and tape around the top of the blade. You canny see it and it looks so much better!

  • biro springs for some fun

  • Hey, How does one go about reading the serial number? On my gangsta I've got a 3 and an 11 on the top side of track ends and below I've got a 10 and far removed another 10 :D

  • And yeah it's a very old v1

  • The drops are super comfy but you're right JB, they look atrocious like this. Thanks for the advice, I'll have them sorted this week!
Hey johnamunet, my V1 just has 018 stamped on the left dropout and no more. I'm not actually sure how to read your serial number. Has your V1 got a non integrated HS and solid dropouts? Post some pics :)!

  • Dude, you got canti mount, just fit a front brakes and wired both levers to it.

  • Bloody hell then. Mine is riddled with numbers :D I'll post some pics once i take some and see if any of you can sort it out! Love your ride tomsvodoba btw!

  • I did think of that ed but tbh I'm happy enough running without a brake atm.. Was originally looking a set of those Cane Creek Ergo thingies but the hoods on these SRAMS seem to fit perfectly with the bars.
Thanks johnamunet, it should also be getting some Brooklyn decals soon too.. Aye it'd be interesting seeing what your frame looks like. Is it a regular ride for you?

  • Newest addition. Keep the wheel safez!

  • atomic?

  • Indeed. Had to get it made for the Chub specifically but only took a couple of days and the craftsmanship is beautiful. Patrick from Atomic22 is also super helpful and a really nice guy to chat to..

  • how are chubs different?

  • They're not as such mate just different bolt sizing I think and not listed on his website so had to get made specifically. Either way it sits well!

  • ^ pricey?

  • lol sorry, I was rather interested in the difference, not questioning what you said (just re-read mine and thought that it does look a bit like it).
    interesting stuff!

  • haha no worries
It was £64.. Not cheap but when the wheel is £200+ and you don't need to carry a second lock then worthwhile I'd say..

  • 'Finished' Brooklyn..
Many many thanks to all those who helped w the decals, seriously appreciated..x

  • I think this needs to be de stickered. It makes it look slightly cheap and not as rad as it actually is.....

    IMO of course.

  • U know I've been thinking that esp when compared to the awesome orange one that was photo'd on the railway tracks...

  • fookin awesome!
