Ok, I hate to say this but I don't want my photos used to make memes. I really, really don't like memes. I am normally happy for polo people to use my pics for blogs, posters, publicity or whatever and occasionally for joke stuff like caption competitions. But not memes.
So please do not use any more of my photos in this thread. I didn't start it as a meme thread - and whoever changed the title didn't bother to tell me.
ThanksSo your alright with meming your own photos without asking whether you think they might cause offence or that you might be stirring will? I think regardless of how many times you turn up and take photos, that people like, you are being a hypocrite. You started the memeing here. I didnt say a word about you posting a photo of me in that moment or that you altered it with copy, thereby making a meme, i didnt like it, but i just ignored. So lighten up.

Yes, you have a point. I have done stuff like that to my own pics, and others have done stuff too (such as the caption competition) and I am usually fine with it. But there is a difference between me choosing what to do with my pics and just having it as a free-for-all for anyone to use them. Just like you might do with the films you make.
I can see your point and in retrospect maybe I should have just left the picture of you as it was, as a part of the evening like any other shot. Or chosen not to include it at all, which I thought about, but that seemed like censoring things. I tried, and clearly in your eyes and maybe in other people's eyes, failed to diffuse it by making it in to a joke. It wasn't my intention to stir anything; I try to keep out of arguments on here.
I can see why a picture of you losing your rag could embarrass you and I respect your point of view on how I used it. -
