Snowboarding.... I'm getting a metal plate to the colar bone this afternoon so hopefully will mean a quicker recovery...., think there are some ribs as well but they'll heal. may mean walking up ditchling though, we'll see.

Sorry to hear about the accident! I really want to do this ride, especially as there is no pressure for me to complete Ditchling without stopping now! I just need my sled to be hipster worthy (hoping it will be finished by this weekend).

Was planning on doing a fast flat 100 tomorrow but my lungs still feel a bit rusty from the bug I had last week so I'm going to grab a mostly plastic bike and recce the route in the morning.

Where do you reckon the best place to meet on the day for this ride will be? Skive usually starts from Traf Square.

On another note, who would've thought getting your shoulder plated would hurt like this? Don't think the fact I was fasting for near 30 hours helped. Had a coupoe litres of water now and a few scraps to eat feeling better. . Morphine is not all its hyped up to be, or the Frenchies need a new guy....

I reckon we could leave it even later than that to be honest. Forum Brighton rides normally start 10ish from Traf Square. My vote is with 10 from the common.

I did a slow ride to Cambridge with IKHTW and Dropout on Tuesday. That was 65mi, we pootled at 14mph and had plenty of potential sun/beer/train time at the end and that included a decent pub stop so that I could feed up on liver and bacon.

Now my bike is complete (i think it's a hhsb) i'm down for this! Plus it would be a great chance for me to meet other people on the forum.
