Finally stripped off everything from the bike, the only thing thats left from the first build is the seatpost clamp. I even found NOS silver SRAM rival branded DT cable stops:

I was going to get some more Hopebars ends but, whilst the build quality is lovley, their heavy as fuck so i bought some of these (my old consession to WW).

I've got 3.2mm lisardskin so that should mean its thinker than the metal

About a tenner is what I found when I looked, which seems totally outrageous to me.

LBS for random substitute? I was missing an adjuster screw on an old mirage rear mech. Fitzrovia cycles didn't have the exact replacement, but a suitable sprung screw that did the job for a couple of quid.

Just picked up the missing mech piece from the post office, big thanks to Oswald for being a top bloke and giving it to me for free.

I did order the cables from Trez, but once again hey were cuntz and said they had it in stock when they didn't so i'm now waiting on an actual seller to post them. Also according to SJS its only 8 days till the bars come back into stock.

Tyre wise i'm thinking I might got for 28c 4 seasons, I did think about gp-4000's but they are probably a bit fancy and thin for my needs.

Can't believe how classy those wheels look for the price.

I went for them because the lead time on the hwy 1 was nuts and i'm too lazy to polish up the centre section of other bars.

And those wheels are good looking yeah I normally think Shimano's look well fugly.
