  • brown or grey? ASIMMMMMMMM are you coming?

  • or safari beige, you've still got your SFG tee from the LO right?

  • Grey could work - everyone has a grey t-shirt, surely?

    Brown is good too.

  • yeah grey i reckon

  • I am coming? Gonna see if i can borrow a minibus today.

  • Okay, I've requested grey.

Everyone make sure you're wearing a grey t-shirt or hoody or whatever!

  • What shade? Do you have a RAL code?

  • @ Monty: Andy and I are definitely going down to Cambridge on the Friday night. I'm not very well at the moment and can't cope with a super early morning in the car for a few hours (bleurrrgh) and we'd both like to get some practice in on the fairly slippy court. I was thinking we could pick up your bike some time on Friday and take it for you, that way you can still fit in the car with Matt, Mya and Neil??? Hope that helps!

  • Sounds fine.

  • Cheers Neil. Sounds awkward but we'll get Monty to his first tournament somehow! Goalie practice tomorrow yeah... ;)

  • ha yeah! I knew we'd make beautiful parents.

  • sounds good, there's a possibility I may be able to come up on the friday now as the gig may be rescheduled-will confirm what's happening at polo tomorrow

  • Oh Monty!!!!

  • Rudimentary scheduling error.

  • some might say a 'schoolboy' error

(feel free to use that at the next tuesday night heckle-sesh)

  • headlining bands pulled out at the last minute, messing everyone about-blame them not me!

  • Subject to change if Manchester sort their shit out.

Attached is the provisional schedule for the RR. Followed by 5 x 30 min games for the Final Four. London plays first to allow long distance teams time. Games end ~8:00 saturday, ~6:00 sunday!

  • Asim. Where do u wana pick us up from?shall we meet at the uni?

  • RE: UKHBPA Meeting

    1) Euro qualifier asap, april ideally. Two courts, 1 day, outdoor pref.
    2) Reffing - get new scenes/players to shadow (experienced) refs at tournaments?
    3) Push the idea for a EHBPA - maybe have a uk international rep - Jono (if he's interested).

Practiced my shooting today, slight improvement. Experimented with a 26x1.5 tyre, it was ok. Might go for 1.6 continental sportcontact.

Anyone want to have a knock-around tomorrow?

Yep. I think it would be awesome if we could do the qualifiers in Birmingham, but realistically it would have to be at Highgate, and I don't think the locals would appreciate us locking down the court for two days. One day could work, but we could only realistically host 10 or so teams which would require cities to agree on numbers and then whittle themselves down.

I think there has to be a better way for the UKHBPA to communicate than the forum (it took ages to even get a list of city reps!) or that people have to be on the forum regularly to be a rep/in the UKHBPA.

  • found potentially 4 new courts today in ladywood, just at the back of the hagley road, will put a couple of pictures up tomorrow...

@fin, defo up for a knock about, ASL? and time?

  • up for a knockabout post tool club...

  • I wouldn't mind a little bit of thursday polo too..

  • sweet!
