I think I'll compile these towards the end of this week, so we have stuff to talk about with Lord Lucas on Sunday. Unlike seeding, it doesn't really matter if we get less than 100% voter turnout, but obviously it would be preferable.

I seem to recall hearing a lot of extenuated versions of 'neil' on Sunday and not many 'Matt's' of a similar tone.

So we talked about rating each other's relative tendencies (goalie/midfielder/goal-scorer). I suggest we give each player 30 points across the three things, so an all-rounder will end up with 10 for each, a great scorer 20 for that, and 10 across the other two etc etc.

Feel free to add to the criteria.

**Goalie Criteria: **let's in few goals. Good at stopping shots with wheels and mallet. Can withstand pressure and not footdown. Also consider his/her ability to make breaks from goal (often the best position to do so).

**Midfielder/Holding player criteria: **Good at keeping possession, good at slowing/preventing breaks, doesn't leave gaps, good at reading attacking and defensive plays, good in corners, fast enough to get back and get forward. Fine passer of the ball, particularly visionary passes into space which creat goal-scoring opportunities. Good/loud communicator who controls play.

**Goalscorer/Hassling player: **good at scoring goals from all angles and distances, good at winning possession, good at stifling breaks before/as they form (they're in the best place to do that), good at passing the ball out of opposing teams corners and staying on their bike to be passed back to. In competitive games, he/she doesn't waste chances (wild shots or shots when there are 2/3 goalies).

Once we have enough data, we can compile it, percentage-ise it and use it to help the captain make line-ups.

Any more for any more? 4 reviews is a bit low...

I think it's made us all think about our own, and others, playing style.
We should make an effort to study everyones strengths and ability over the next couple of weeks and feedback on that.
