    1. Cyclists can be segregated from traffic (link to that study showing chance of death from right turning traffic is massively increased on cycle lane junctions compared to in main lanes... Actually I think it was a study in the states, so left turning traffic... You must know the one skyD?)

    The other option is about twenty feet in the air (for truly segregated cycle lanes)... I think I suggested that already on either the thread about cycle super highway or the skylift over the Thames...

    So long as it was the same width as the road (or even wider) and had ventilation...

    I did have a large amount of aspals for lunch though.
