  • White lug lining would look the sehx!

  • ^could be nice when done perfectly. But I think 'clean' would also look very nice!

  • btw; you lucky bastard! Find a frame like this then have it resprayed very nicely for free. Jealous.

  • White lug lining would look the sehx!

    +1
You've done an amazing job real transformation

  • that is lovely...

  • White lug lining would look the sehx!

I was thinking of doing a black lining, but maybe the frame color is too dark for that... And although i draw a fair bit, i'm a little scared of lining the lugs myself.

BTW i'm getting my wheel laced next week (36H Miche Primato on Rigida DP18) but i don't know if i wanna go radial or cross... The rear is a 32H Miche on DP18, so: 2 cross wheels for teh epic matchingzz or front radial ('cause it looks teh sexz)?

  • radial would be cool.

  • But cross is more original.

  • Friend of mine had to give a classic Volvo a new paint job on saturday

    such

    a

    nice

    car

  • LUSH paint job

  • Wheelset completed (Rigida DP18 on Miche Primato).

    Bars taped

    ...

  • Nice!

  • Finished the bike yesterday, had a test ride this afternoon with a mate in the sun (!) (loving this global warming thing a lot right now), had a very decent Yirgacheffe doppio and made some pictures, GOOD shit... (time i could have spent well on my master thesis as well but feck it)

    Some detailshots for the clickingz:

  • Looking damn good! Instant classic.

  • ^ what wiener says, turned out well nice!

maybe some shellac on the bartape as a finishing touch

  • Thanks.
Will definitely look into the shellac, hadn't thought of that.

  • beautiful build

  • Very nice. I prefer the drops fwiw.

  • Lovely!!

  • Lovely build! With bulls aswell as with drops, really jealous :(

  • nice. just needs an aerospoke

  • Lol^

  • stunning!
im so jealous ive been doing the opposite of you and writing essays rather than building my bike...
i think i need to take a leaf out of your book

  • Quite possibly one of the best looking bikes I've ever seen. Truly beautiful.

  • What a transformation, fantastic job.

What did you use to sand it by the way?
