  • BTW, is that a gold Mack to Hplusson now in the back? I remember another forumenger buying thos from NL.. Not you.. confused

  • Still want to see your modified ones.

^^^^ Martin, do you have rims??

I do, although not open pros - 32h sun ringle assaults. great rims, wide enough to give you this "u" shape profile, semi-aero and very light, just 405g each.
I was thinking, if ever you decide to sell macks.. well, you know where I live:)
otherwise there is not too much use for them at the moment!

oh, and as I said before - this bike with wound ups now is turning into a double win.

  • Awesome bike. Really nice.

  • I'ld still like to endorse my first dibs on whenever/if ever you'll sell those wheels..;)

if ever you decide to sell macks.. well, you know where I live:).

  • Cheers Guys, really appreciate the kind words.

....And to be clear, I'ld still like to endorse my first dibs on whenever/if ever you'll sell those wheels..;)

I haven't forgotten ;) you'll be first to know, if it ever happens

Yes thats the one, those came to me from a fellow forumenger as a part exchange. These are the set that will likely make way for other things down the line, but I must admit they are growing on me....

Like I say, They solved a couple of things for me, one was the aesthics of a deeper rim wheelset on the Bike. Also, the Black Macks were (and still are) unbuilt and my mind was unmade for rim choice, so didnt really have a decent wheelset to use...came out the blue, but glad they did.
I was unsure, and doubt I would've bought them, but as it was a bit of a trade and helped both parties out, i went for it. Having Super Light Macks laced to those rims seemed a bit of a "chalk and cheese" decision by someone, but none the less the perfromance of those hubs are lovely and the wheels are not that heavy, so ride well...Even the gold isn't too much to look at and didnt get me entered in the HHSB so must've got away with it :)

Ah, okay. I have no plans to sell those Black Hubs and the gold/yellow are a 36h. I'm pretty much made up on the TB14's for now...or the archtypes if they make it over here before i have funds to buy....

OOI - How much did you want for your Zen?

  • PM'd you, lets keep this thread for drools only :)

  • @ b'jammin - what size is the frame?

Also - a driveside profile would be ace please.............. for my screensaver :)

  • Yes, ^ This! Cheers Crane!

Spacers arrived and fitted, should get an early ride in tomorrow so I'm happy with Bar and Lever position before I finally wrap the bars.

  • Where are the like buttons on this site?

  • Dibs frame and headset.

  • A few up to date full pics, still tweaking the road bars/levers, but here with the track drops.
Still a seat clamp to find, and then the wheel build....but so far,

  • Utter top shelf filth.

  • Cheers Eamesy, its getting there, no? Well, in terms of ride, its there...a dream. That frame has worked out well for me :)

  • S.e.x

  • What a peach. Well done.

  • Bloody lovely Ben!

  • nice 'engineered' look but I just can't be having that fork. indoor only.

  • These Wheels (SF Mack Superlight/H+Son Formation) are now up for grabs.
I'm going to list them this afternoon, but if anyone following this thread is interested, let me know....

  • $?

  • Sorry T, didn't notice your post. Listed here

  • Actually, I think the gold/black ones look better then the black Macks to hplussons(?) and you should sell those.. To me..

  • But, tbh, it does look good with these wheels.. Shut out that option because the other wheels were in my head all the time.. You're probably selling to buy them rims/build aye?

  • Hah!
They'll be missed and they ride so well. Also, the gold ones are "superlight" where as the Black are standard. I did consider stripping/re-anodising, but too much of a faff.
Yes, only selling to fund new wheels...would keep them if I could afford to.

  • Finally!! New Rims arrived for the Mack Hubs build.
