Im glad you guys enjoyed it.
However, it wasnt ideal really..i know none of us expected there only being one court. In future i think you should cap it at 4 teams regardless of where you play. Maybe 3 ladies teams and 1 other? Or whatever..
It just isnt the weather to be playing 4 games in 4 hours.
We'll keep giving sirens their training at NE polo, maybe they'll be able to give tornadoes a run for their money next time.

I agree with this. Be nice to see London polo give the ladies teams the best possible chance by giving them as much court time as possible.

#cappingschmappingor um, seeing as it was an organised team day to help london ladies progress, we try and give them as much court time as possible and play throw-ins elsewhere.

I'm all for supporting LL max, i just think that limiting the whole of a saturday, (at any court) to 12 people is a bit stupid. I also think that endless team games arent the way for any team to progress. The best training, with or without teams IMO in the past couple of years was the monday night drills where everyone could bring a little of their own technique to the night and the bench minor training. Formalised slowing and speeding off the game, technical practise, dribbling, passing all better practise than the familiarity of playing the same 9 other people all day.

the sat thing was posed as a training day and not as a throw in day. i really appreciated that everyone came down to support etc, but we didnt intend it as an alternative to throw ins, i assumed people would play throw ins up north as usual. however, we did also expect to have two courts and we did try to accommodate everyone who came down to play in that we didnt play every game etc. future plans for teams games i think will be organised as such and hopefully midweek. sorry if it took over sat throw ins, that wasnt the intention but it was a fun day i thought.

I really enjoyed it nik. Didnt see a problem with it at all, throw in / team games. I just dont want to see any court restricted to a select of 12 people, mainly on a weekend. I also dont like it when max tries to put words in my mouth regarding supporting people simply because i didnt agree with him. Serious about drill nights, i think most people that came found them really useful, the coach had some really, really good ideas. I still use, *frank. (sing different speed songs in your head to slow you down, speed you and your game up).
Great day all round. Lets do that again. :)
