Greetings folks,
Villa - ru - re 'Hmmm. What is this talk of training?'
All in I will do probably 50 to 60 miles for the ride, I'm very nearly 44 years old and
so would ideally like to have put in at least some sort of training at this time of year, just so it is an enjoyable ride....Bothwell - give thanks ....
Peace and love to one and all,
Tim -

I never got an email confirmation

• #116
I've been roped into going up to Manchester to see friends I've not visited for years. Luckily he's Belgian so we'll be in the pub watching the Roubaix anyway.
Out.
PS I'm happy to forward my confirmation email onto someone and arrange with the organisers to transfer my ticket if possible. Else eI'll let them know the space is available.

Hey Ben, I'll take your space if it's still available

Greetings folks,
With Benjam out and Laner and Munky in (are you keeping up people...? ) we have more than the big 5 0 riding for Team LFGSS.
There are a couple of weeks to go, we have lovely weather today and the clocks will have changed by then, so bring on the day - it's looking like a 'Classic' day out.
Oh and one last thing, even though this ride kicks off well before midday on 1st April....... just to confirm this ride **is **happening and is no April fool's joke business.
Peace and Love to each and everyone,
Tim -

Could we sort a good place to go after the finish? Where is the finish, Gypsy Hill?
-
• #122
Yes Skully,
It finishes at the Gipsy Hill Tavern ( near Gipsy Hill station ) which is going to be bike friendly for the day and is showing cycling (Tour of Flanders ) on the big screen.
Last year (admittedly at different venue....) it was nice vibes in the garden and Paris Roubaix on the telly, then a raffle - top prize last year being a frame from Brixton Cycles - so assuming same again this year it will be well worth hanging around for....
Give thanks,
Tim -

Like sumo I didn't get an email confirmation although my bro did, and I booked his place at the same time should I worry?

you shouldn't worry:)
Just been down to Brixton Cycles to inspect what is so far over £1ks worth of stuff to raffle off...including an even nicerer frame than last year...details on the website this weekend.
Hmmm. What is this talk of training?
