OT: I have a soft tan leather breifcase / satchel, which is a bit scratched-up from when I tried to smack some work ethic into a hobo.
Any way to get rid of them? (scratches, that is)

I did the cutouts.
and "cobblers cream", should help with the scratches. apply elsewhere in a small patch first to check of course.

You do realise I've had to trim the case to fit the device, right? Taking off the top 1cm makes the cut-outs shallower than they were. They still work (easy to get the phone out), but aren't quite as effective as they would be if the case hadn't need to be trimmed as they expose less of the phone.
