I couldn't see a brown with red stitching one... maybe I'm blind. Looked on your tumblr too, also didn't see it.
I see black with red, and brown with white/beige.
A mid-brown (not too dark, not too light), with whatever colour stitching makes it look pretty and you happen to have, should be about right.
She has this bag, would be good to come close on the brown colour... or at least, not wildly away from it.
