It doesn't! Sold my mirror polished Look KG292 in May after 16 months use. Very easy to maintain, just a quick rub or occasionaly a bit of "solvol Autosol" or car polish. Have another KG292 currently on Ebay. Replaced by Time VXRS in plastic cos it's stiffer for my 95 kgs.

Yw. Tbh i dont think any ti finish ive seeen will be a match to that frame. It could still look great but it will be hard to find a good matching tone.. Brushed will be brighter for sure even if its been left unbuffed for awhile. Id still think thats your best bet tho.
Your frame seem to have more of a brown/yellow tone vs titaniums greyish tone in various degrees. Perhaps thats just a photo illusion tho.

Hmm, that is a shame. The old Brompton Titanium posts had a blueish hue to them:

Id get that. Looks great on that frame imo. Not 100% match but still very good imo.

Which exactly?

Titanium, like aluminium, passivate- the outer layer of the metal forms a neutral oxide which protects the underlying metal.
You can polish it off, but it'll come back unless you clearcoat it.

I suspect that that is an authentic Brompton seat post. Brompton have stopped making them, thus my searching and questions. I'll see what I can find on Ebay and other forums, and at least I've got a reference point for the colour if I go down the custom route.

Anyone know where to get ti/ti coloured headset spacers for less than a million quid?
these are way better (than J&L) in my experience:

One of these tubesets is my front triangle. I suspect its the middle one, as my BB shell is 10mm longer than my headtube.

Latest project is taking form. Need to have a cm shorter stem and polish it to match the frame. A chain and cassette and even pedals will prove usefull but other than that..
Should be rideable by Monday i hope! Also thinking bout adding some coloured bits but i always change my mind and want plain black a week later. Think the red "bling" kit will stay in the box for now!?

^ nice cranks :) Is the frame BB30 or are you running some kind of adapter?

I've got a Hope titanium seatpost that I need to cut down. Was gonna use an angle grinder and an inox disc. Will this work and is it a good idea?

Cheers desouz!
Most likely it will work just fine, dont have any experience with em. Just a saw with a blade for metal will cut that seatpost in no time tho.

Have you stripped the anodizing off some SiSl crankbolts, or are you using Si bolts due to them being silver?
-

Good eye! I dont know tbh. So prolly they are si bolts then.

8mm=Si, 10mm=SiSl

Also, it isn't a great picture, but you can see the contrast between the current seatpost and the frame here:
