Writing to subscribe and say that I am in in whatever form this takes but most if it's a mystery alleycat (teams? I'm sporadically good/awful with clues).

will mr. cumberbatch actually be there? I was banging on today about how I fancied BC then told one of my colleagues today that he looks like him. Whoops.

If you come on this ride, Katie, I foresee a small army of forumites turning up with floppy hair and greatcoats, cycling into lamp posts while trying to look quizzical.

You could do a ride based on the stories
So, the Blue Carbuncle would be Bake St to Tottenham Court Road and back,
The Red Headed League would take you to Aldgate,
The missing 3/4 takes you to Cambridge and is a story in which Holmes rides a bike
You should also include a visit to Barts , which is where they met.You get the idea.
The Hound of the Baskervilles would obviously be off roading on Dartmoor
this is something that I have been mulling over for a while and have spoken to both longandwinding and dropout* about at some length.
Ind - please drop me a PM as I have quite a few ideas that I'd be happy to share and to help execute.
