In. I will be on my New Gears, but I will not wearing a ruff.
You will, no doubt, be as smooth as you always are.

I have to reschedule this ride til after the olympics now, too many commitments. tentative date is sat 25th august.. i've also checked train times for sunday can't get to stratford til noon and 2 changes, meh.
so prefer early start on saturday.. marylebone station for 0700hrs gets in around 0900hrs. train ticket is £25 each (less with a group save).. this ride will take about 7/8 hours

it's about my titanium goddess (full of character and a great ride) and the carbon whore (no personality, no feeling, like riding plastic)..
btw my first love was an italian beauty called concetta.. sexy 531c tubing, flame red, chrome forks, 8 speed
i really miss her, i am sad now ffs -

I may well be up for doing this ride in August. However you will want to double check that whatever train company it is will actually take us and our bikes. Some train companies have started saying they are not allowing bikes on trains in and out of London at any time of day from beginning of Olympics to end of Paralympics.

i need to limit numbers to 6 for the train journey we need to meet, no later than 0645 at marylebone station expecting 20mph average on the road, loads of hills over +120miles route.. some are upto 20% climbs

my mistress' eyes filled with contempt,
vacant sun-days now with carbon whore;
before cobbles o'er cols with litespeed past,
when we cranked, and climbed a wheezy breath.Saved only for winter run and daily grind,
no more glint, see I in her lusty frame;
a work horse she, not show pony be,
of common scent of lube and greaseplastic bike for plastic folk, says she,
nodders on the road take heed;
peds in suits at lights, make way;
for Golgotha the Crucifier and me,from clicky freehub, by heaven i think
a love spoke true, belied with false compare;
be'twixt carbon whore and Ti goddess;
envy, knows where a heart should rest. -
