you need to rotate it around the angle of the head tube, not dead level.

help me out peoples. i need your internet and bike knowledge skllz. I want to put a front rack on my bike to make the cycle to the beach a bit less back sweaty and remember seeing a histogram in the snow with one which looked pretty sturdy(possibly posted by SadR?! why i think i remember that i dont know). cant find the pic. a prize* for anyone who can find it for me :) plus any other wicked looking bikes with front racks!
*prize may not be a physical object.

smaller black one on Shinkuu Kiss' 'Alan' looks dope too...

oh hello was that an excuse to post a picture of my bike i just heard? (the basket is actually silver)
-
• #9945
^ What is this basket? Definitely the best-looking of the bunch. That PDW one is awful!
-
• #9946
The PDW one is fine and can fit between drops or bulls for extra slave options. Biggest issues are the small size and it only attaches at the bars meaning it can tilt.
I think Shinkuu's basket is a Wald basket which is available from TFG in the UK.

Also, think charlie bikemonger was doing the pdw one for fiddy quid. Comes with the bag and seems a good price to me.
-
• #9948
for light weight work I think the PDW one is excellent value, especially as it comes with a bag.
-
• #9949
But I don't need a hand bag...

Still undecided as to whether the frame protector is right or not. Sure it looks cool but I fear it's practicality (that stem will hit that frame) doesn't quite work with the slave ethos. Maybe that makes it ironic and therefore it works? I'm confusing myself now.
Nothing slave about a dented frame...
Charlie, are you on your lunch break or got a day off? Come see me in the van for an ice cream.
