they uploaded the pic on facebook too but without the pixelate display and it says 6,76 kg .... not bad at all
Still 7+ with pedals. Pretty standard for a track bike, with reasonable components.

I did ask. I didn't say I hated it. The bar angle needs sorting still.

Its got a high BB so the down tube is a lot more shallow.. shallower.. less steep! been told they built it as a 'street' track frame and wanted it this way so it could be easier to handle whilst fucking about on a street (rather than zipping around on the boards). head tube is a beast. swamps the likes of a concept, mash or rush hour pro when shot head on.
not trying to defend it, i'm neither a lover nor a hater of it, just putting some method to the madness.
^could be wrong but looks like a 650c in a 700c fork to me, all those angles are so horrible and those bars must be unridable

Actually in the flesh they are pretty nice! welds are clean, rear bridge is suuuper toight with 23c tyres (which may not make it so city street friendly after all) and look pretty tidy with the extended seattube (no excess weight of additional seatpost) in my opinion. Cant get away from the fact that it does get a bit front heavy tho. Its not amazing and its not terrible for their first efforts as a run of frames. Also they are all hand built in Italy.. perhaps not hand built, but still. made in Italy!

Thought they were Spanish?

they are, but the frames were build in italy

@apolloxl...can i enquire as to your slave? what frame is that and from where did you acquire her/him?!? looks steel and fillet brazed (vs ali and filled) trying to find something similar myself but seems custom built is the only way...
66c-t Dodici Gara, aquired 2nd hand from a forumenger...
ps...forgot got to say...looks MF sick
Thanks :)
Although, if I remember right, it's not a standard Dodici Gara frame, but possibly a bit custom for the guy ApolloXL bought it off.
+
the only thing custom about it is the size
True.
its a bro-pro no? looks to be a combination of gara tubes with more of the special geo?
Almost...
It's Alu with Tifosi Carbon forks.
Size (66c-t) and sloping tt are the only things that differentiate it from a standard Gara... Sloping tt is partially due to customization, partially due to more rake on the Tifosi forks than the standard ones..Sorry for late replies, was in Wales all day...

Can i just say, I would not spend my money on a dosnoventa. I was there a couple of weeks ago as a holiday and convinced the better half to go have a wonder around, the guys at the shop were very un-professional and not friendly at all, they were discussing the names for the new frames, Im sure shangai was one of them. They seem to care more about making money that making people feel welcome at their shop, I congratulated them on a lovely shop, but clearly they only made it for the money to be made. hence the prices and new frames coming out. I would NOT recommend them, rather spend £600+ on a custom frame made in England! .......rant over
