Yours is about the only bike I like that set back Thomson on TM, still think they look crap for the most part.

Another quick ride on the bulls has confirmed that I need a slightly shorter stem.
Think a 90mm stem (possibly 0deg) and saddle all the way forward should be about right.
Out of interest, how much shorter stems do you guys use going from normal set up to bullhorns, if any?
Hoping a shorter stem will solve things and not an inline seatpost.

I don't know how long your current stem is but I wouldn't go much shorter than 90mm. In my expreience an inline seatpost is actually beneficial because it puts you in a more forward position over the bb. And I happen to like the aesthetics but that's kind of a personal thing innit.

I wouldn't mess about with the saddle too much. You should work that out from the pedal distance - the general rule is your knee should be in line with the ball of your foot:
Depending on your previous set up (and the bull horns) I'd say you need to lose at least 10-20mm off your stem. If you think about where your hands end up when riding on the drops it's a fair bit further forward than the actual bars.
Absolutely nothing wrong with going down to 80mm.

had 100mm stem with drop bars and 70mm on a bullhorn on my Nelson

I dropped from a 100mm to 70mm and then it still felt a bit of a stretch. I doubt many consider how far forward bulls set you (the ADB-x also do this by about 20mm).

I think it's the risers, but this is actually a nice, really clean looking Kagero, like it.

Ah, thank you very much, that helps quite a bit. Had been using risers on a 100mm stem, but that really doesn't feel good transferred to pursuits.

Starting to get some idea of what I'm doing wrong now!
Love this.
Hells yeah! See what I've been saying about the hot pink and lime green now?!

Nothing to stop you posting your own pic here, it's not the porn thread!
Damnit, I'll do it -
still not 100% converted but that one looks LOADS better with a bit of straight post showing.
