Corned beef legs?!

and a star is not more commonly used as a logo?!
These are laser cut mild steel, the cheapest/easiest way to make a dropout.
Extremely poor in my book. And are you arguing that something more expensive and awkward is better?
CNC is a good way to reduce weight, there are very clever things being done in the BMX world. But that royce track end is a fucking joke. It looks bigger and clumsier than any end I have ever seen, they have not used the manufacturing process to add anything functional at all, the "cheap & easy" one is much better.

I wonder how easy it would be to make a track frame using all the invest casting type techniques that are becoming big in bmx (if it hasn't already been done) would look cool.
I really like those royce ends though, and i think we would all agree that if you got the opportunity to design what we wanted then get it made by royce you'd back it to the high heavens

• #6106
True that, but you wouldn't design a dropout with a horses face on it, like royce did.

I'm not arguing about anything...
The 14R is not a BMX and never will be.
I have seen some drop out's a hell of a lot larger than this before, on BMX's actually.BMX's need to be as light and as strong as possible, it's all about the strength to weight ratio. As the 14R is made from Reynolds aero 853 and not made to do crazy stunts on, it needs a different strength to weight ratio.
BMX can have the "cheap & easy" way, it suits the industry of which it is a product of.
The 14R is something that is made to last longer than the common "cheap & easy" (insert any mass produced frame brand here ______)
It's not your thing, that's cool. BicycleMotorCross ain't mine but I don't have a bad word to say about it, it keeps a lot of people occupied...

Cheers mate. I'm also playing around with the idea of airwings and a stupidly short stem so I can slain hills better on future hipster rides.

With a headtube that long...

Are they crononero low riders? I have looked at them too but the 60mm drop may be a bit too deep.

What year is the frame Roboto?
The geo changed in weird ways over a few yrs, for instance, mine is a ('09 I think) 55cm square frame, with 175mm head tube!
Luckily this fits me rather perfectly and immense amounts of fun! -
• #6121
It's the 08 which is apparently the same as the 09 geo meaning the effective top tube is 53.5cm can't remember off the top of my head what size the head tube was on the chart and I'm too lazy to find it at the moment.
