Cheers bud! It's the Nitto b263aa in a 340mm. They were originally intended as a tt base bar, but they have a lovely inward curve and are easily the comfiest bars I've used

I used one of these for ages because it was sat around, rolled pretty shit but so does any tyre with 20+ flat spots

It's a panaracer pasela. Not the thickest tyre but it does the job

Made by Panaracer for the UK market I believe
Not quite on the latter bit, it's a Grant Petersen design and were sold by Rivendell originally. Not sure why he hasn't kept the rights/moulds though...

Ahhh ok, I wasn’t sure, cheers for clearing that up!

Did you ever use them as a tt base bar? I've been looking for a narrow base bar myself actually. Are they stiff?
-
• #55486
Nah sorry, I’ve only ever just used them like that, never had any issues with flex though. I’ve got a set in 380mm if you want to give them a shot? Found them even a little too wid for me..

Thanks for the advice but had Michelin dynamics on another bike and they seemed to love punctures.
I might go for the panaracer pasála as @Botherington mentioned.
Thanks guys!

It may be the paint that is ugly or you... ; )
-
• #55496
its the whole frameset thats ugly, not hhsb
swap the frameset out for a model before 2009 -
• #55497
Hhsb = <2009? Never heard of this rule.

I've been on these for a bit and really can't complain, especially for £13! Made by Panaracer for the UK market I believe, can't fit under an njs fork though so had to use a pasela up front.
