I've seen this done a few times now. Cages with double straps, but the rear strap seems to be laced through the front of the pedal. Anyone know anything about this? I can't see the advantage and it looks naff...

Every time I see a 650 wheel in a bike designed for 700s for some reason I feel this overwhelming urge to curb stamp someone... very peculiar. 0_o
