My fork got damaged because I mounted 23C Conti tires which are actually to big for my fork. 23C Vittoria fits perfectly.

By damage I'm guessing you don't mean more than paint loss?

my njs fork purrrs with 23c's...

and 28c's rubbed the rear brake bridge before being worn down a bit

guess you just get used to it.

25's work. At least on tubs but would probably scrape a bit if they heat up

23c conti's rubbed on the downtube of my old bike, it had crazy steep angles.

Forgive my lack of low clearance practicality, but is clearance that low possible on daily ridden bikes?

Yes, but its a pain. I'm going to take a rounded file to my crown so that i can run a 25c/sit my front wheel in the dropouts properly.

I wouldn't keep the paint job but for that price id consider it.
Cheaper alternative than LOW// Mash etc
