Are all the other dosnoventa frames a copy of Dolan too andy? You seems to know everything!
You seem to know not a lot. If you were running a magazine entitled "Fixed Magazine" it would be in your interest to know a lot... don't you think?!

I know enough of what I need to know! Do you have a reply to my question?

I do have a reply to your question. Dolan does not build any of the frames for Dosnoventa. These guys do though.

So dosnoventa does not copy Dolan then? Just a matter of a same design for 2 bikes with different details, also dosnoventa have another 4 frames apart front the Tokyo which you already established its a copy of the Dolan. Why isn't Dolan making it? Somebody mentioned before because it was too expensive, but then a new company with no experience can make it and better than the previous prototype!
Dosnoventa isn't a copy of dolan, Dolan never made the frame it was just a prototype frame with Dolan decals, but never put it to production so dosnoventa have never copies Dolan just happen to find the same frame Dolan use for their prototype, tweak it and use it under their brand! -

Dolan are not using it because it's too expensive. They are not using it because it is not as good as the frames currently use. You do know that Dolan provides frames for the british olympic track team right? How is this better than the Dolan prototype?! Better because you can put a front brake on there?!
This frame is made for the track and as it was surpassed by better frames, there is no other place for it to be other than where it is now.
It is still as I have always said, the same frame as the Dolan track prototype.

If anything dosnoventa copy Sartos not Dolan, as it was a prototype it does not mean its Dolans frame as Sartos made it. I think you clearly don't like dosnoventa and not because of their frame, as I said before they do have another 4 frames! You using the frame excuse copy of Dolan prototype made by Sartos and now use by dosnoventa excuse to talk shit of dosnoventa my saying they copying stuff. Everybody have to start somewhere and even tho in art and design feedback is always welcome, constructive opinions are better than saying is shit straight away! Offer them your help! You know the business inside out!

Just because you put "hand crafted in italy" on your chain stays... don't mean it's true. ;)
but judging from your link it is true. so maybe you've been a little quick to criticize the frame then Andy? Just because it's not as good as something else doesn't mean that it's totally useless and deserves to be trashed. If they're shit, they'll fail, if they're good they won't. Let it run it's course.

I have nothing against Dosnoventa, good luck to them. They will need it.
Of course there are many things that I am not saying, which I will not divulge about what is going on in the fixed gear scene at present. I have already said too much. You are biased concerning brands from Spain, you really want a Dosnoventa Barcelona right? It's good to be supportive of brands and I salute you for doing so.
When you as a company (Dosnoventa) pick frames from stock molds/geometries that are made by another company (Sarto) you are limited by the choices that they offer. You are forced to choose the same options that other companies might choose (Dolan) This does not create a good environment in which to start/grow your company from... In my mind, this is copying. It is the easy way out and any graphic designer with a vinyl cutter can make his own frame brand with some money behind him.
I have a lot on at the moment. But if Dosnoventa require any help and they are willing to pay I'm sure any person with some common sense would be willing to help them out.
I have no time to help these guys, there is only one of me and that is not enough as it is!

I could not remember where I saw it, that is why I wrote this because I thought I saw the frame in the Chinese section of Euro bike. Then this morning I remembered.

Right there says it all, you have nothing against them, however you wish them good luck because they will need it? Something bad is gonna happen that we don't know? Fixie skidderz are dying?

I'm sure Dolan as a company feels good that somebody is using a frame they had in mind because now Dolan can make it even better and say; we thought of this frame made by sarto, however we don't like seeing the same bike twice and dosnoventa have the same frame so we going to do something different and better - It's business -

***You should work for Dosnoventa! (Maybe you do!?) With the money they make from the carbon frames, they could pay you well. ;)
You should talk to more frame builders, everyone I spoke to at Bespoked Bristol was super happy and friendly.
Dolan does not give a rats arse about any of this.***

I don't drive either, but anywhere is accessible by bike with the added value of trains.
I'm not Terry Dolan.
Also as the owner of a magazine about the Fixed gear scene, a member of this forum since I can't remember when and the founder of Fixedgearlondon. I have an interest in helping to define what little culture it is that exists. If I did not care, the magazine and everything we do would be biased and dictated by brands that can throw money around. Which is the last thing I want to happen.
