I think it's an OSCA (Osvaldo Cazzaniga), with a 700 insted of original 650 fork.

650 - 700 would explain slackness.

its my lo pro from polish manufacture "bio bike" with columbus max 700c fork.

Question though - is it possible, or practical, to get aluminium drop outs with adjuster screws? Would that require a full steel dropout or is there a way to do it without resorting to this kind of thing
In reference to the BMC I linked to above - it's fucking annoying that a) they don't make 'em small enough for me b) they measure the actual length of the TT, by the look of their geo charts. Like literally until it hits the seattube / headtube. Very odd. Otherwise I'd have one in a minute, sell the cranks, put some better rims on those custom drilled hubs... Firecrest to DA 7600.

There are a few frames out there that have them.

the other bmc frame (tr01?) has these dropouts, I'm not exactly sure how they work though.

They're carbon though, so you could mould around them?
-
• #34135
Ah ha, now, the carbon BMC I could ride...

seems like the only sensible option

what you swap the cranks for? 7710s are pretty nice

did we ever settle the gumwalls-for-skidding debate?
Are BLB Mambas the only good option?

Omniums for less BB bullshit

Get mixed reviews, those or Paselas and put up with a shorter lifespan
-

True... Do you know which ones have a less 'tall' profile? My forks barely clear a skinny 23c Conti Ultra sport...
Which of course means that every time the tyre picks up something I can hear it clawing at the paint:

^^my panaracer pasela TG seem to be lasting alright, I don't skid loads though. Just to show off in front of the ladaaaays.

ask Ho about those tyres. We came to the conclusion they're rebranded turbo tyres.

Pleasantly surprised by the Paselas. Quite good in the rain and I live on the other side of Hampstead, which means up/down mad skidzz and they've survived well considering I'm not ambidextrous.

Also not entirely sure what all that brass is at the front of the crown or the random line that heads into the steerer.... a repair perhaps? Original paint though...

^^ probably showing my ignorance here but what's that lo-pro? frame look khs-like, but forks look bareknuckle-ish or something more modern...
Quite like it, (pedals gash and fork rake slack)
^ re dropouts: I think mine are quite pretty.
