looks great, but hard to tell yet. I really hope they haven't gone with their usual "no toe overlap and road geo" -route if they want to say it is keirin inspired frame
-
• #31413
That headtubes angle doesn't look steep enough to be inspired by Keirin frames. I'm guessing it will cost more or less the same as a proper NJS frame too...

some bullshit

wha?
my bridgestone was 73 both, kalavinka is 74. low is steeper, and so is your unknown probably. -
• #31417
I'm not comparing the Dos to your Low or my Unknown.
If you look at the angle compared to the pics of real NJS frames on the last couple of pages, the HT angle doesn't seem as steep.
-
• #31418
the HT doesn't look that bad, it's the shit load of rake that will probably make it look wank. Undrilled touring forks anyone?
-
• #31419
for this price, fuck it

That 290 is the 290 barcelona, here is the geo: http://www.dosnoventabikes.com/faq.aspx#Geometry

Actually... *"No Rear Brake Hole · Invisibe Front Brake Hole"*
Excuse my ignorance but what's one of them? Is it filled in with glitter-covered liquorice or something?? -
• #31422
It'll have a rubber bung in it painted over.
-

It works out at about £800 quid. Very expensive in my book, considering you could get something custom for about £200 more.
Still, on the plus side it's by far the nicest frame they've produced so far, even if it is a lot like a lot of other stuff out there.
They've at least gone to the effort of Panto'ing the fork crowns etc which look pretty cool.
Certainly no one should buy one without seeing it built up first though. -

yeah you can get a brand new legit njs frame for cheaper than that, you can get a custom kalavinka for about £150 more
