they had to find a -20deg stem to make it appear horizontal with the 70 deg headtube

Look like new mash look like dos.

Ligh
their shitty logo is kind of endearing when it's blown up across a disc wheel, it's like some people who have just no clue what they're doing accidentally stumbled across a way to make good wheels
That's their exact story. The people behind Lightweight still aren't that keen on cycling, I think they just figured out it was a better way of making money than aircraft parts I think.
This is clearly not a sentence that you will see very often in this thread, but...there's a really good article in Rouleur about it.

Donoventa is v similar geo to parallax.
Don't you think?
-
• #30458
well.....no

• #30459
I see slacker ST on Parallax?
Slacker HT on Dos?
-
• #30460
dos is 75/73, I wouldn't be surprised if new mash is 74/74 so this would make sense
-
• #30461
i would prefer 74/74

I like my HT angles tight. I don't really care for the minor difference in handling. It looks shit when you can shove a hand through the gap between the tyre ad the down tube.

Parralax had st angle slackened to meet new uci regulations apparently, not sure why that's needed considering the majority of buyers to be
Also, anyone know rake on the dosnoventa forks, the parralax is 28mm and I reckon the dos is something like 45?

It's a 45 rake. Swapping out the forks could make it tighter. But it's difficult finding the right forks due to the tapered head tube. Maybe I should post this in current projects..

• #30467
That sounds about right, 1 1/8 to1.5 inch?
-
• #30468
Yeah, I looked into adapters but no luck. I'm actually considering machining some sort of crown race to fit. I need to do more research first though.

Dmayn91 what gear do you ride on a daily basis on the Dos?
-
• #30470
55/19. Why?
-
• #30471
ah was just wondering it looked high, but it isn't that bad.
-
• #30472
78GI is pretty big.
-
• #30473
I'm getting a 20t. Learning to spin is pretty fun.
-
• #30474
Not as big as 53/16. Somehow my knees survived.

That sounds like an idea, what about nelson pistas with a custom machined crown race? You'll need a 50mm crown fork to keep the flowiness of the headtube/fork and they're the only ones I can think of with track rake (35mm)
their logo will change soon (*taps nose)
