No need to apologise. I think the answer's been covered now, but yeah, basically because it used a 10mm pitch, any given ratio looks smaller than the usual half-inch pitch. The idea was to save weight as all the parts are smaller.
What I meant was that literally every time a picture of it is posted, someone pipes up to comment on the 'lame' gearing. Same thing now with the EC90 track bars that have the grippy finish on the lower part. Which was my original snarky/dumb/convoluted point.
Cheers fellas, knew I'd find a comprehensive answer on here, I always wondered why some people ran really small looking ratios, makes sense if you're worried about weigh though. Bars IMHO look better tapped anyway, and you don't have to explain ti everyone that you're not trying to look hipster!

^Nice, i like the cinelli too.
Also whats the deal with aero spoke wheels? aren't they just for looks because they're heavier than traditional wheels? sorry i'm new!
-
• #2988
Clearly. They're cack and crack.

totally depend on what kind of riding you do.
On a track; or, on the road in the right conditions (that is limited crosswind) the aero advantage beats the weight cost for getting from A to B faster.

I should love that pink bike on the last page but it pisses me off. That fucking saddle angle, the cut bars and the hand position he uses, the pedals...
