jesus this skidding in clips/straps is way harder than clipless

replaced cages and straps with restraps thinking that would help but it feels like my shoes are bending instead of pulling up/I just pull out of them

What shoes? Nike janoskis or stiff soled vans help... It's a bit of a more tricky technique than spds, spds make it too easy....

Skate shoes are pretty easy, but you can skid in anything really. Desert boots for me.

That 8bar is a right munter. Always been a big fan of that Low, can't help but feel that lovely cockpit is somehow fouled by those Ourys, I can't get into the chunkiness of them.

I think at least 2/3rds of forum Low's are very well built.

I've done skids in wallies, the clips made some marks on them though so i never did it again
