I have a fairly short stem on my road bike (90mm) but did not feel like a T-rex... Just my top tube could be a tiny bit shorter, but it's not a custom frame, and it rides grest...

It looks nicely proportioned to me too. I like the look of bikes with the seatpost and stem a little longer or the stem slammed more. Proper nitpicking though. Erik's ride is out and out PRON, no doubt about that.

i really want to step up my roadie game.... the dinero's involved tho :(

About a year is right I'd say although I've changed to restraps for non clipless rides and have not had this issue. It's a looks pref I guess but has anyone had a restrap snap? Try saying that after Easts.

not that i know of. that style of strap is definitely harder wearing than the toestraps and clips style

all "trick" style straps will last longer, they just wear a lot better
