I stole umop3pisdn's race wheels to see how they look. hopefully when i've got some spare cash I'll get some carbon. With normal wheels it doesn't look slave in the slightest..

If you mean the 14R, they're bog standard Sylvans, with horizontal Restraps. It's a proper squeeze to make them fit (plus they're a bit stiff to spin around the arms right now - I think they just need a bit of breaking in).

Will switch to Neuvos at some point. Have been riding DMR platforms till now, so these feel crazy slick by comparison.

Personally i think some black SDP-SLs would perfect it for me but obviously i'm not the one riding it. need to get those Alpina logos off aswell

I really like restraps/hold fasts on regular pedals. I can't stand pedals that are similar to RX-1s though, the lips on the front and rear plates are way too raised for soft-soled vans or anything similar. Do Nuevo's even have a second hole for horizontal straps?

I use Hold fasts on crank brothers and although the bearings are shit, nice platform for riding.
