Sounds pretty feasible, loads of those Korean "NotJS" frames are made with Japanese lugs - I've seen a few with Nagasawa BBs etc...

yeah not only with lugs, but by actual japanese builders on contract.
and so President was made by nagasawa, Cello by Kalavinka, and Gayas by 3rensho.
some of them had the 'njs' stamp tapped off the bb shells, due to it becoming irrelevant in Korea.
