I realise, it's just effort of sending it abroad and the unrebliability of Robert that put me off.

Drill a 0.5mm hole at the end of the crack, chamfer it's edges vaguely with a dremel and then ask an aluminium welder to drop a bead down it. It's only 10mm of weld, they'll probably do it for fuck all. Then pay a bike shop to ream the head tube, job's a good'un.

Time to get te Dremel out...
