I totally don't get this Gansta love going on. It's rank in my eye's! Isn't it a trick bike? WTF is it? Just looks inbred and clunky to me!

It's based on a tried and tested geometry (60's Raleigh Track) that's perfect for road and track racing.
Really comfortable for eating up the miles, and plenty stiff for the track.

I didnt think I could ride mine on the track because of the geometry? I thought the BB would be too low.
Although I have never actually check tbh and its given me a excuse to get another bike just for the track.
I do like that Gangsta but wish they still supplied all with the flat fork that the V1 came with.
-
• #23647
the gangsta track is the best frame i've ever ridden, so versatile and generally just awesome in every single way.

Like I said, BMW based it on a classic English track geometry that's slacker than a modern track bike, but still suitable.
It's a popular misconception that track bike are fast handling bicycle, quite the opposite actually, it's not something you'd want to have on the road.

yeah, tis a real shame indeed, especially as the clusterfork isnt the prettiest and really does make it look like a trick frame, anyone know why they were discontinued?

Cheers for the info Ed, I dunno if its coz they moved the production from us to far east and they werent making the frames in house any long that they stopped making them.... They were meant to be making another batch but no one knows as they aren't very good with communication...
^^^^ I believe I had first refusal fred ;)
