  • Any one not seen the new Cinelli track frame yet?!

I for one love it, looks meaner than mean itself.

not a fan of what's going on on the back
    plus that headtube again..

I would like it if it werent for the bendy seat stays.

  • I like the shape, not so much a fan of the paint job.

  • if dosnoventa was to make a bike like this for example would you be a fan?

It's a pointless question, if Costco made those frames, I'd like them.

  • ^^^^ Ok, whats wrong with the back-end/stays/head-tube?

Headtube is gonna be hell of a lot stiffer, and I like it when my front end isn't visibly wandering all over the place.

Rear end has massive chain-stays, which will give good power transfer and acceleration, bendy seat-stays give a bit more (although I admit that might be negligible).

I like wishbone stays, and on what looks like a carbon frame, I can't see any reason why not to use them.

Might be heresy, but I also like ISMs, no need for seat-post making over component choices easier.

Also kinda liking the compact geo on that too.

  • ^^ Agreed with TM, it's Dosnoventa frames I don't like either, but that's due to design, not the brand.

  • isp/ism is neat, but all the things you listed look anti for me, also reasoning behind a frankly ugly headtube doesnt do it for me I am afraid - has bolt/mash had issues with a flexy headtube, considering its micro lenght? never heard from the owners.
the wishbone, as mentioned week ago or so, looks like dosnoventa's front end, which is none of the prettiest either, I won't be commenting on compact geo as my opinion on this will probably recall Indra from wherever he is right now

fwiw though, I really like the paintjob
but its always horses for courses, simples...

  • Long cranks, slack angles, spacer stack, 88mm wheels. GTFO. What is this bike for FFS?

  • Did you not see the background?

Fair enough mate, this is HHSB after all!

    I like the paint too.

I know I do go more for function over form sometimes, but mainly because I see a beautiful function in its form and so function sometimes becomes form to me, even if it has a brutality of form to it (i.e.- head-tube).

I like a lot of the features (only those obvious from a pic mind) of the new frame.

Have to admit, my old MASH was the stiffest frame I've ever owned by far, so guess head-tube argument is kinda mute, but I still like a bit of belt and braces engineering!

  • having said all that, I probably wouldnt refuse it if somebody offered it for a good price :s

  • Any one not seen the new Cinelli track frame yet?!

we all saw it as it was promoted due to the last red hook a few days ago. and it was clearly stated that it was a prototype, made some years ago and it is until now not planned to bring it into production.

  • I like that Cinelli. Do want.

  • ^ you must spread some Reputation around before giving it to 1000archangels again.

Such a worthwhile use of your time.

  • Meh to the new Cinelli, looks like someone took the gears off my Tarmac.

  • you guys are forgetting that their original frame wasn't designed by them, it was a Dolan prototype that got rejected. I honestly doubt that they have had any input into the frames past the paint jobs.

The dolan didn't have the tapered forks and nasty HT angle. They ruined it

  • for the sake of it's rep here's a reap of it

  • nice

  • "They see me rollin',
    They hatin..."

  • I recognize that gear, is that Andy's?!

  • Ramirez's

  • just came to post that...

  • 14r looks so awesome!! I have been waiting for some rotors for about a month now!
