Handmade in San Fran baby.

I always thought the Lows looked really good quality wise, handmade in SF. Kinda like a mash but better imo.

A visible weld isn't necessarily a bad one. Where do you guys come up with these ridiculous thoughts.
-

Back in the day when I was into mountainbikes, GTs fat welds were considered teh sexe.
-
• #1958
maybe binder over the welds means more effort spent on the bike as a whole hmm?

it' not a bad one, but it looks bad. from my point of view: if you're building handmade frames for 900 bucks, there should be time to smooth them

Fair enough, I do share your opinion that the retail price isn't justified. I read this interview once where this LOW// bloke defended his flat and wide welds by saying Klein and Cannondale did them too. Which is probably true, but they didn't leave them looking like that. They took some time to smooth them out like you might expect them to at this price.

Am I on of the few that thinks 900 dollars aint that bad for a frame? Its like 600 odd quid which is the same as a cinelli or a Gangsta?

they are michelin pro race 2 tyres. very good but they dont make them anymore.
The new pro race 3 tyres are shit and get cut up very easily

This is such bollocks. Pro 4 is the current generation, at least get your facts straight.
I've been commuting on Pro 3's almost the entire summer last year and never had a problem. Rolling resistance and cornering grip are awesome. -

Woah calm down!
The pro race 3's are half decent in the dry through the summer but as soon as you start doing some proper riding on them in the wet and through the winter, they are shit and get cut up very easily.

There is something not quite right about that Anchor. The stem is horrid, the seat-stays join too low, the dropouts look like they're added on as an afterthought, the chain-stays looks industrial as fuck, and the rear wheel looks way too skinny. Totally lacks cohesion, and for that reason, I'm out >>>>

it's a stiff track frame and build by the company as seen in the picture
-

I've no doubts as to its efficacy on the track, but just in terms of looks.
