Everything about a Corima frame just looks a bit wrong to me.

i listened to him on the ain't hard to tell beat and it wasn't good enough to make me wanna listen to any of his other stuff and nowhere near good enough to be trying to tackle the classics. He should leave them alone

This definitely is not a proper introduction to the boards, so I apologize in advance. But This pushed me to FINALLY register.

IMO Elmatic does not properly display Elzhi's raw lyrical talent, and of course cannot be compared to the classic album Illmatic. But to say his material isn't good is really stretching it. Please take a listen to his material on Witness My Growth, and The Preface before you form conclusions.... not to mention his material from his time in Slum Village.

Say I were to hear Nas from the first time, the material I hear is off of "Hip Hop Is Dead" or "Life Is Good". Needless to say I would be far from impressed. Okay, I'm done with my rant sorry to push the things off topic.
