However, it has the Champagne coloured CXP30's that I'm lusting after.
I thought they looked to deep for the cxp30's.
I too have them as a tubular wheelset laced to 28h campagnolono pista record hubs for sellz if you r interested.
Are we talking about the green mash?
I don't think they're CXP30's either, not deep or curved enough.
Whilst it's pretty hateful in the track-drop guise, the Rolls/risers and short stem are a marginal improvementIn fact definatley not CXP's. eigthinch or whatever the name is..

Still want the CXPs.
However, I'm looking for clincher. 36H if possible and I'm not in a rush as I've got to spend money on other things that aren't for the bike now Christmas is coming.

I'd like to see how they look with my matched Grand Mighty cranks. If they look shit, I'll stick with my black wheels and find some plastic spock for fun.

the rims are darker than the cranks... what colour is your frame?
i could mock up my grandmighty's with the cxp's on a black, yellow, celeste, or light blue (but only the rear wheel) coloured frame.
currently the cranks are on the black so this would be easiest!

I have a blue 2008 Omnium. There is a pic of it on here with the cranks. Too busy at work to go fishing for it though.

Man I need to put gumwalls on my tarck bike. But I've just gone and bought a pair of conti 4 seasons.

Put them on your roadie? Then get some of these bad boys http://www.veloflextires.com/veloflex_master%2023_clincher.htm

^ very pretty, but to my eye they look more track than tarck

What are they like as training/everyday tyres? I'd heard some Veloflex models are good for race days but not very durable.

I have the non gumwall version but I havent give it enough mileage for any sort of in-depth opinion. Most reviews I read seemed to say it had decent puncture resistance and lasted well though. Dont know how well they would hold up to brakless though

I'm thinking about road bike use so should be fine - I might PM you come spring and see how you've gotten on with them.
