Profile Design 1" to 1 1/8" ahead
stay away from 1" to 1" ahead as you need a shim on top

I have been working with the frame builder to try and find the best solution concerning the seat cluster. The 1st few 14R frames each have slightly different seat bolt solutions.
From now on they will be like this...
I've sourced black and chromed bolts, so now customers can choose.

whats on the inside Andy? i mean the clamp mechanism...
It's hard to explain... but I'll try.
So a short tube with an internal diameter of 27.2 is braised into the Reynolds 853 Aero tube at the top. It has two slots cut into it that enable it to flex. In the back of the 853 tube, two threaded pieces are braised in.
The tips of the bolts tightened, press against the internal tube with the slots and thus push against the seat post, holding it firmly in place.
The top is capped off to enclose everything.
It is a lot of work for the frame builder, but it is the best way.
14R's should be a lot more money than they are currently priced, but if we up the price any more, it will become unobtainable.I hope that explains it well enough :)

this ^ is how the internal solution for leader's 725 and 735 should have been. them cheap scimps cut corners there and spot welded the internal tube inside the aero frame tube only in two points. thus creating very concentrated stress points that leads to cracks and fail - in my case after not even 2 months of use. warranty sorted me out but i sure as hell did not get another 7X5 leader frame for the sake of steering clear of suc hmogoloid cheapskate design in an area where it counts.
me, riding hard, 70kg body weight.

sorry andy to have brought the leader name near your frames. they don't play in the same league.

We have had grey, midnight sparkle blue, red and white. All the others have been matte black.
I think 14 bike co has about 300+ colors to choose from...

creative customers who are looking for individual bikes ;)
This I know. I merely refer to the 48x15 part, I think both guys will be ok pushing it!, Wiggins also competed in team pursuit btw.
