They still seem to set them up in stupid ways, if you have to have 2 brakes may as well make the most of it

I had to laugh. That Mercian is long gone. I got measured for that frame at Mercian 55cm square and it came out all wrong. I could not get the riding position right. Hence the ugly stem and bars. Riser bars wouldn't have worked on that bike neither. Still I learned that square bikes don't fit me and that I need a long seat tube and short top tube 60 x 56 is a perfect fit !!!
