No, you are wrong, dale track frame and wound up fork is one of the radest HHSB frame and fork combos. Probably my personal favorite.

- think I've heard some similar things said about the 14R. You're one of the people behind that aren't you?
With you on the rack thing tho.
I'm just saying I would rather spend that money on a full carbon monocoque fork.
I don't trust a fork bonded together with resin...

Ive only tried alpina vs wound up on my Low, and I am glad I spent some extra on the fork.
Maybe Enve or some other good fork would ride as well but I am also digging the looks of wound ups

Never seen a full carbon monocoque fork look good on a dale yet.
Do wound up forks have a high failure rate in comparison to monocoque? Can't really see anything in your argument to suggest it's anything other than personal preference but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, i like the 14R too. I was just pointing out that with both the wound ups and the 14R there are better performance options for the same money just maybe with less hip hop slave potential.

Heard they unclip quite easy? Are they a MTB pedal mainly?
-
• #11738
this. + too much float
Good on mud-shedding and clipping in on 4 sides. good for CX.

^IMO.
I haven't ridden them a lot, tried them and unclipped + heard lots of stories.
not out to single handedly dismiss them as shit pedals.

Whatever.
If you want to harp on about originality and period correctness, bike porn is that way >>>>>>>>
For aesthetics and strait up rad steez you want wound ups on your dale all day long!
