Good to see some more classical shizzle on here.
I just got tearful listening to Ray LaMontagne. Devastatingly beautiful voice.
This track is particularly moving: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5JjxF4GNms&ob=av2n"]Ray

Maybe Ray's a girl thing then @bodieanddolly ;)
Dolly is great. She must be knocking on a bit now.
Totally different song though.

Where's your momma gone,
where's your momma gone,
little baby Don,
little baby Don?
Where's your poppa gone,
where's your poppa gone,
far, far away,
far, far away.Last night I heard my momma singin' a song:
Ooh wee Chirpy Chirpy, Cheep Cheep.
Woke up this mornin' and my momma was gone,
Ooh wee Chirpy Chirpy, Cheep Cheep,
Chirpy Chirpy, Cheep Cheep Chirp.Where's your momma gone,
where's your momma gone,
little baby Don,
little baby Don?
Where's your poppa gone,
where's your poppa gone,
far, far away,
far, far away.OK, don't fucking rub it in
it's all a obvious, why not just stick up a link to C&W radio!
Depressive music should change your mood no??
Crack out the Jewish Jazz.. This score is majestically sullen, this piece asks questions, cries for hope but each note sounds like a tear.
Zorn can be a master at times.

When I first heard Faures requiem I wept, its immensely moving, it softly screams everything is going to be fine. takes you belly down and leaves you fine the other side

and how could you not stick a bit of Elgar in there. Nimrod is a bit obvious but it has got me in a few motion pictures. popular but rightly so, its a heartfelt piece. but i think Griegs death of ase gets it. just because the violin, of all the instruments can really lower a soul
