I'm not disputing that they're charging more for the same thing - just saying that you're getting a few benifits, which given the overall outlay actually might be worth it.http://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=2&pub=5574889051&toolid=10001&campid=5336527178&customid=&item=180858698502&mpt=438079
Tis a good point.

WTFing shite is this?
-
• #55
Is it even allowed to rip-off other wheel designs like this?
-
• #56
K... just seen them for sale at BLB.
Sorta makes sense. -

The notorious copy hed3 looks awful and the way the valve goes through is crap compared to the real mccoy!

I wonder how that blb 05 compares to the iO - performance wise,
price point is pretty low compared to it. -
• #59
i was hoping somebody will point to the original chinese manufacturer here

That's a different design. The BLB one is more like the iO. I went and had a look at the Notorious one - it's very light and I'd really like to get one just for posing around, but I'm not prepared to pay anything near £600.

But how do they cope with the awesome force of a whip skid on a dry road.......?
-
• #63
BLB's are clinchers and farsports are tubulars.
I too would use one if the price were half of what they charge wich would still be expensive but not blb expensive .
-
• #64
They will disintegrate under the enormous forces generated by the average fixie skidder's mighty thighs.

The BLB trispokes and 5 spokes don't even begin to compare the competition, they don't even have an airfoil. Dunno if I'd trust full carbon clinchers anyway.
Really glad I don't live in London sometimes.
