would anyone be up for riding out to this?
meet at vauxall bridge at say 9am for a 9.05 departure, go down the a20 to get there? its roughly 15 miles.
-
• #54
I've ridden out there quite a few times this year - I've found it pretty boring which is why I'll be getting the train. I would avoid the A20 around sidcup as it's basically a motorway. This is the route I've taken, roughly:

Is this Friday morning? As in tomorrow
-
• #57
Yes, this is tomorrow, the 23rd.
Remember to bring something to eat. And a waterproof might not be a bad idea, there could be the odd shower or two in the afternoon. Hopefully we will miss most of it.

what time do we expect to be back at Crystal Palace?
i have to be back mid afternoon to get to my lbs to pick up my mountain bike for a ride on Saturday

Somewhere between 2 and 3 o'clock.
I won't be getting the train from Victoria, for those that are, since I can get on at the station just down the road from me.

Looking to join you good peeps, if the Firm's Christmas party does not get totally out of hand tonight, like last year, and the year before that, and...
Hopefully will be riding through Elmers End, Bromley, A222, then Leesons Hill to the RV.

Hey mister, how is the babby?
-
• #63
Should be in for tmw. I have to get up early for the 27 mile ride into Victoria though, so there's a high risk I might oversleep.

I wish you guys a blast and may nobody lean.
Work once more prohibits me from doing what's right and fun.Take pictures and mad pov decent vids, will you?

I'm currently 50/50 - I don't seem to have shaken the bug I've had for ages, and I'm knackered. My head says go home for Christmas and spend three days sleeping, eating and generally making yourself better, my heart says go for a ride. Not sure which will win :/

• #66
Go home, I'm tired of hearing about your never-ending cold....
;)
-
• #67
see you guys tomorrow, riding out.
-
• #68
Sorry chickens but may catch up with you guys at crystal palace as I have not been dropping off presents as I wanted to.
-
• #69
laner, where are you riding from?
or how many are catching the train, can we get a group save?
-
• #70
I'm getting the train, it's best to use Oyster as it's cheaper - only £3.20!
It would be good if at least one other person I can recognise was getting the train as I want to buy food at Victoria before getting on the train. I have failed to go to the shop and I'm going to bed shortly.
-
• #71
ok, i will join you at the station
aiming to be there around 9.25
-
• #72
Same here. See you there.
-
• #73
I'm just by woolwich so it's only 8 miles for me, easier than getting the train.
-
• #74
I may not make the pub because, unsurprisingly, I have not done my christmas shopping.

By what route?
If you see a ducati multistrada in black with red panniers it might be me.
I might be up for this. Just waiting to hear back about something that I was meant to do on Friday.
