I think I posted this already, but I really love the on on VeloSpace:
That one is really nice and I hope to be able to get my hands on a project one to turn it in to something like that, at least I aspire to!

The Zephyr is now available for sale again. I would like to spend more time on it but here you have it is.
Does need a nicer set of wheels, fixed gear and lock ring, brakes (if you use them) and could maybe benefit from a nicer bottom bracket and headset but not really necessary.

it's now listed on ebay

• #34
why now and not in two months time? :/
-
• #35
I'm not sure what you mean or why. Is it because bikes are more in demand then?
-
• #36
no, it's because I might have more money :D

• #37
Did you sell this in the end?
-
• #38
I had the bike listed on e bay for 300 and did not sell. I'm away on the 25th for up to 6 weeks and if there's anyone interested and wants to make an offer, sure let me know. The crack was brazed, dings were filled, repainted and built up with brooks saddle, TA chainset, Major Taylor handlebars and pair of 27x1 1/4 wheels with high flange hubs (nothing really special but wheels look nice enough). I will try to have photos posted soon, just have to find them.

rode it to work today for the first time in a while, feels good.
replaced the brake, will have a nicer seat post fitted, head badge and original decals included. I have a front wheel which I think matches the rear wheel more. Will try and sort that out and post a picture soon.
300 and it's yours. sam_ruscica@yahoo.com

If you are still interested, bike is still available.

Kind of still interested actually, although my other half would kill me...Ive managed to amass too many bikes in the last two years.....and we've just had a baby.
Have you had that frame re-coated/sprayed? Or is that just the photos? The paintwork around the lug on the headset area looks a bit iffy which is why I ask.
I wouldn't be looking to spend as much as that either despite it being a complete bike (assuming you're selling it as shown?).

Spray job, Halfords finest. Would look lot nicer if lugs were painted a different colour.
