BPTO (that means Toronto!) will be driving down in some big vans! I have been pulled into a definitely attending stance. We will bring you Mark and Adrienne if we don't break them on our polo courts the week before. I'm looking forward to drinking Bourbon at every meal, and hating on the Sens with you Max (stupid Craig Anderson!).

That sounds awesome Switters!
Oh I really want to go!

^related to that... is there anyway to change your user name?
(Switters is from a Tom Robbins book, but now reminds too much of Twitter) -
• #55
Don't change it! It's awesome.
(If you really want to, pm velocio)

Yeah same connecting flight. Oops

• #69
Lol.
So what's the deal with going to America then. Do I need to sort out a visa first? What about health/travel insurance?
-
• #70
Visa on arrival.
Travel insurance recommended.
Do it!

• #71
Ok, so I guess we fall into the VWP, and can just get an ESTA.
I assume no-one has had a problem getting in under that visa for the purpose of playing in a polo tournament?
-
• #72
Oh, and what's the deal with accommodation. I'm guessing worst case there will be fairly cheap hotels out there.
Finally, if I go, I'd love to play in the co-ed tournament, so if two ladies want to make a team with me?
-
• #73
Don't worry about accommodation, if you're going all that way to support the ladies, you will be housed.

I have no idea what vwp or esta is. Everytime i've ever been i fill out a green card when landing/crossing the border and get 90 days. Most of the time i tell them im playing polo, and its always fine/they dont care.

VWP is the Visa Waiver Program, which the UK is part of. ESTA is the Electronic System for Travel Authority.
Supposedly you need to apply for it at least 72 hours before check in now, otherwise they won't let you on board the plane.
Seabass was thinking bout road tripping there, so thats another vehicle if we wanted to day trip somewhere
