what are is the contientious objection about ? if you are just going to a pub that sells tickets on the door i don't see much different from every one elses new years eve ?

i was hoping it might be tinnies in rucksac's and a nice ride round london avoiding being bottled by drunks ? and avoiding ankle deep broken glass ?

the Pembury by hackney downs is apparently ticketless and will have live music, open til 3am

I'm a Canadian dude and I'm gonna be in southampton from the 29th to the 7th. I'm bringing my bike with me as I'm living in china now and those countryside roads around town are too nice to pass up. I'm coming to England to visit an elderly relative who's holed up in a nursing home but I was hoping to find something fun to do on nye. This booze cruise you guys have planned sounds right up my alley. If you guys dont mind a foreign, complete stranger joining in that is. ;)
