Stay young, bowl overarm. I tried to play on the green in the park next door when I was a kid, the fogeys gained my respect, it's like darts crossed with chess.

2 weeks into mine, they're quite useful

You aren’t meant to put the lit end in your mouth.

I believe the availability of cheap homegrown has stopped traditional rituals like this.

Anyone else's eyebrows/nostril hair absolutely going out of control yet? Find myself plucking unruly eyebrows out every few days, while the nostril hair is growing back almost as quickly as I can strim it away with the trimmers. I find this doubly insulting given I have no hair on top of my head where I could actually do with the ruddy stuff.

Not got a problem with ear or nose hair, maybe the twice daily sinus wash is doing something to keep it down. Likewise perhaps the constant spraying of olive oil in my ears but still having them blocked by wax is preventing hair growth.

Fortunately no ear-based growth here but the hair on my head is having some sort of second childhood and growing like crazy and curly

No real comparison! A colonoscopy is like a massage compared to a cystoscopy.
-

Yes. Nose hair particularly irritating cos it curls right round and gives my an itchy twitchy nose.
-
• #2615
Yes totally, on both counts. Saw my first grey tipped eyebrow hair the other day too. 54 this Sunday.

Going from 1 to 54 in a matter of days is some pretty intense greying. At least if you can count them all, your varifocals are doing the job.

Some kind of switch flicked back when I turned forty and one of my eyebrows decided to start growing straight out instead of towards the temple. Having never so much as trimmed them before I now have to regularly buzz them or I end up looking like some mad Tory peer.

My varifocals allowed me to see what you did there, in a fairly narrow corridor of lens, as long as I moved my eyes and not my head....

I think admission to Kew Gardens was 1d when I was a sproggit.
Correction: I've looked further into this and 1d is mostly incorrect.
It was more like 6d. -

I had a cystoscopy a few years ago.
I went into it with the attitude of 'Hmmmm...... This could be interesting...... I might enjoy this.....
I didn't.
At all. -

My wife is a urology nurse and they regularly have patients that shove things down there on purpose.

There's the fun of jabbing wires down the end of your todger, and then the fund of pissing superheated glass shreds for the next day or so. What's not to love.

I don't like the sounding of that at all.

I usually get the pleasure of these stories over our evening meal. Men seem obsessed with shoving anything into every orifice, some of the things she tells me....!!!
